Sarah Palin's Resignation

There are so very few good people involved in politics. They are always giving up or being voted out, usually replaced with others that are not good choices.

It seems that politics is a very dirty business, and those with high hopes for making the world a better place, don't make it. Politics is not for the squeamish, or those with thin skin, or creative people. No, it's certainly not for creative people, politics in America is the realm of bad ideas, poor choices, self-aggrandisement, and the ceaseless desire to find new ways to extort new taxes from the public.

What we have inherited is the price on our complacency, or as Plato said:
"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors."
